What do I need to know to prepare for this event?

All details will be emailed to you 2 weeks before the event, here are a few things to prepare for:

  • Videographers will be filming the event

  • We will be walking to a playlist of inspiring music, so if you are sensitive to sound we recommend bringing something to protect your ears.

  • The course is flat, smoothly paved, no hills, and lit with lamp-posts.

  • Bring an extra layer, and your weighted vest or backpack.

  • Water/beverages will be provided at the event.

Are kids allowed?

Kids 11+ are welcome to attend with the purchase of a ticket.

Parents please use your discretion as our speaker will be talking about sex trafficking and related topics.

Can I bring my baby/toddler? What about strollers and front packs?

Babies and toddlers are welcome as long as they are in strollers and with parents.

(Due to night time and safety reasons)

Babies/toddlers are free with parents and must remain in their stroller or front pack.

What is the actual night ruck course and how dark will it be?

The night ruck course will be the loop around McEuen Park. The size of the loop is similar to a high school track. There will be cones and signs set up around the course. The course loop is a very smooth, flat, paved surface and has lighting throughout the area. It will be dark outside and the path will be semi-lit so you can still see.
